You should have already received your stimulus payment for 2008. If you did not, consult your tax advisor, or IRS representative. If you can confirm that you did not yet received your economic stimulus check for 2008, you may be eligible for a first-time credit this year. You may also be eligible for a larger stimulus payment in 2009. Both of these stimulus payments are referred to as Recovery Rebate Credits. If you already received your economic stimulus check, you should note that it should not be included as income on your tax return.

Some extra checks are always
Some extra checks are always welcomed by most of us, but unfortunately you can't rely on them only to get out of this crisis. We have to find other more reliable finance resources, such as an cash advances or any similar short term loan, in order to pay our bills or other unexpected spending on time.
I didn't get any checks nor
I didn't get any checks nor last year and it's getting harder and harder for me to face all the debts I have to pay. What are the real conditions for a man to get those stimulus checks? I don't have a financial consultant, I rely on internet information on this one...
Stimulus = Debt
I find it quite ironic that the government spent $74.4 billion dollars on consumers to encourage them to spend more, when it's the whole "if you spend you're patriotic" crap that got us into this mess in the first place.
People felt they were being patriotic by buying homes they couldn't afford, filling their credit cards with debt they couldn't repay, and now those few of us that have lived frugally and without too much excess are footing the bill for a stimulus payment that encourages consumers to do this all over again?
I can understand why this happened during the Bush administration, since they're the ones that helped get us into this mess. But don't tell me Obama is considering another stimulus package as well? Ahhhh!!!
Obama Stimulus Check?
I've heard rumours that Obama will be issuing a stimulus package as well this year. Is this true?
