What Ticker Symbols Are in Your Portfolio?

A ticker symbol is the 3-5 digit symbol used to represent a security on a trading exchange. For example, Google, Inc. trades under the ticker symbol GOOG. Whenever we reference a publicly traded company, we will typically include the ticker symbol in parentheses next to the company name.
